We’re all full at the Inn…
So we checked in yesterday to the HoJo’s side of the hospital. However, we are only here until tomorrow, so not too bad. Her friends Olivia and Aiden were here yesterday playing up a storm with Morgan. Her mom Kellie called me to tell me that her kids did not want to leave, which Morgan was fine with as well. That is, until she saw it was 5 o’clock and she hadn’t had her time in the playroom. Kellie said that she experienced first hand what it’s like to see Morgan jump into action and rip/pull her cords out of the wall to hurry on down to the playroom, all the while her chemo continues to drip.
We are back in the hospital next week for at least 5 – 10 days. Unfortunately this means that Morgan is probably going to miss her school play “The Professor and the Magic Zero.” But to stay in remission, this is what needs to happen.
Morgan was up at 6:45a this morning, waiting for me to come fully awake. When one sleeps on a mattress that’s as fat/thick as our current surplus of funds in our country - waking up is not easy! So, as you have probably guessed, she is in the playroom, playing Wii and doing arts -n- crafts. I let the nurse practioner know not to bother coming to her room for her check-up, do not pass go, do not collect $200, just go to the playroom.
