Virus alert!!!
Unfortunately it is not the internet I am talking about. Morgan’s counts were low this week, and with a virus going around, sure enough, we caught it. Morgan stayed home from school on Tuesday because of a “feeling” I had, and sure enough, kids were sick at school that day. Wednesday we woke up late, hurried to school, and found out it was closed because of the snow. We picked up her school mate Max, and had a fantastic snow day, as the pictures show. Thursday we were in school, and Friday was teacher conference. Sunday, Morgan woke with a temperature of 104…so off to the hospital we went. We have been admitted, and her ANC is pretty much 0…so this means not only do we need to have her fever gone before we leave, but her counts need to be close to 200, or at least over 100 before we can get out of the hospital. Hopefully we will be out by Wednesday or Thursday.
Hair update….the final pieces are falling out today. The chemo has truly kicked in and this side effect has now come to pass.
