Update from sedation…
We came into the hospital at 8am this morning…with Morgan of all things – HUNGRY! They took her in for her Broviac (I am sure this is spelled incorrectly), LP and her first new dose of chemo. She came thru the procedure wonderfully. We are currently waiting for her to wake up and say that she wants food!
So, as expecte, Morgan woke up asking for food. We were admitted to the same floor we were on before, BUT on the other side because there were no beds available. The difference, well I will make this comparison: We were staying at the Four Seasons before, and now we are at HoJo’s.
Visitor’s beware, quarters are cramped. Really no more than 4-5 people can be in the room at one time. Anyway, Morgan had her first 2 doses of the heavy chemo last night. When I called in to check on her later that evening, around 10p, she was having her 2nd chinese spare rib that had just been delivered!
Morgan will be receiving 2 doses of the heavy chemo each morning for the next 4 days. The side effects begin around days 4 and 5. If you would like to visit, today and tomorrow probably would be the best days.
