Well, the counts are in, and Morgan’s ANC is puttering around just below the magic number of 200, where she needs to be for a couple of days before we can go home. She continues to be in great spirtis, but is getting a little anxious to get back home.

Her appetite is through the roof! Nurse Jennifer mentioned to us a couple of weeks ago that when the appetite kicks in we would need a refrigerator next to the bed, and she wasn’t kidding.

This morning the Ronald McDonald House had a special breakfast for everyone on the Oncology floor and Morgan definetly put a dent in the menu! The Ronald McDonald House folks are quite amazing in what they do. I think they are a Godsend for people who live far away, and depend on the generous support to help them through very difficult times.

We feel very lucky to live so close to the Hospital. As I walk around the Hospital and talk with the other parents, I’m amazed at the mix of people from all over the country who travel to great length’s to bring their children to this amazing facility.

With Morgan rapidly approaching a discahrge, we now need to start moving out. I think we may need to rent a truck to move all of the wonderful gifts that all of you have sent to Morgan.

Well I need to sign off at this point. We are going to take a tour of the Clinic that Morgan will be visiting for the next two years, and Morgan is pressing me to get her ready for the anticipated busy day of visitors.
