Testing the waters…
So we have been out of the hospital since Tuesday afternoon. Of course by Tuesday evening, Morgan had already had a playdate with Maxine and Ocean! Having some difficulty sleeping thru the evenings, due to some GVHD (this a a good thing when it is a little bit) with her skin. It gets quite itchy at night, or should I say 2am in the morning!
Awoke on Wednesday wondering if I had set up any playdates for her…oy! The paint pottery shop on our corner made a Morgan accommodation and set up at table outside for her to paint. Unfortunately, her skin was still too sensitive to be outdoors, so she had to come home. On a scale of 1-10, that rated a 1. She is so anxious to start her life, and is jumping into the waters like she can do everything the same.
What has become the same is her appetite! To date (we have been home 2 days!) she has eaten, 7 cucumbers, 1lb of steak, 2lbs of spaghetti, 4 meatballs, 3lbs of strawberries, 3 bananas, 2 pieces of bread, 3 cupcakes, 2 slices of cake, 2 slices of cantalope, 1lb of grapes, 2 slices of pizza, 22 pills, and vats of water…off to the supermarket to reload! Uuuuuh, I thought the hospital told us her appetite would be slow to return…
Just finished a playdate with Abby, Sydney and Rachel. Need to run to work so that I can relax!
