Spring Break
Friends is off for Spring Break, but school is still in for us at the hospital. Morgan’s counts are still “zero”, but her spirits are back to infinity! The doctors figure we’ll be in the hospital at least another 2 weeks, possibly 3. Morgan is starting to “take” her shots amazing well. She called me the other night and left a message on my cell phone asking me to call her back because she had exciting news. I did not call her back soon enough, so she left 3 more messages. She called to tell me she had her shot, and “mom I did not cry!” She then laughed and said she was just fine.
Her new thing is calling me from the hosptial room. She keeps a list of numbers next to the phone when she gets bored, and calls me or her dad, or her Pop Pop, or her nanny. Yeah, I see the phone bills already! This is her at 7 – OY, what will it be like at 17?!
