Somewhere over the weekend…
Fridays results from her treatment were, in my opinion, very good. Morgan seems to be “growing” her own white and red blood cells, and her ANC is 2107! When we left the hospital it was 328. Therefore, we are planning to be in school at least Monday – Wednesday this week.
Morgan started off Saturday morning at 6am…I asked that she give me a little more time to wake up. At 6:45am I was making her first breakfast – she had about 4 more breakfasts before we had lunch at 12:30 with Dar and Will.
Thursday, Morgan has an LP and bone marrow aspiration. This will be our second attempt to see if she is in remission or not. By the microscope, she is. By new technology she is not. We are going to see if this time both ways agree. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED…but we will not know those results until the 21st.
Starting in 2 weeks we begin a harder push to keep Morgan healthy. This will last 8 weeks, and has a variety of medications, LP’s, and mom giving her shots at home. All we can do is take one day at a time.
