This week has been packed full of treatments for Morgan. We started with the chemo where she needed to take showers every 6 hours (which strangely, she seemed to enjoy, even at 4am). Next chemo treatment had us up every 2 hours to “pee” so that the chemo would flush out of her system…really loved the 2am and 4am wake-up pee pees! We end with high dosages of prednesone and twice daily, starting at 6am via ambulance, full body radiation treatments. Morgan, as always, the trooper.
Today we celebrate Morgan’s first bone marrow birthday. The transplant will take place sometime this afternoon. Pray, wish, hope, think, chant, good match. We want a GREAT donor vs. hostess day today!
