No bones about it…
Morgan had her bone marrow aspiration today. She did GREAT. IV – no problem. She told me that if you just breathe through it, and just decide that it won’t hurt, it won’t! Her only complaint was that she was so hungry. She had to stop eating as of 11pm last night, and her procedure was not until 11am this morning. For a girl on steroids, that’s a lifetime for the tummy. She kept saying she just wanted to be put to sleep…because when she woke up that meant she could eat. I did allow Morgan the M word for lunch after the procedure…McDonald’s.
As I said previously a few posts ago, we will not have the results of the aspiration until Wednesday, we are hoping for the result of full remission. Morgan’s dad asked what her counts were this week, and I realized that we left the hospital without me asking…I guess they were fine – WE LEFT!
