knock, knock…who’s there…?
Pneumonia…but it could have been a lot worse. Had it been sepsis, we would have had to make a decision (rather, the decision would have been made) regarding the amputation of Morgan’s feet. SO, pneumonia it is, and believe it or not, we are happy for it.
We checked into the hospital Superbowl Sunday. Due to some IV issues, we may actually be out by the weekend. Morgan’s oxygen levels keep going up and down, and without IV fluids, she needs to keep up the fluids herself. Morgan has been home the last 2 weeks with a horrible cough. It wasn’t until she presented with a fever, that a hospital stay became necessary. Dehydration has been an issue for months.
Currently she is trying to drink as much as she can muster, and do breathing excercises that will get us home. She misses her pup, Hugo. I am trying to figure how to sneak him in, buuuuuut, I think that would get us in a looooottttt of trouble, and when I say us, I mean me. Gotta go, she is whiteboarding me messages at lightning speeds…she is definitely feeling better!
