Hats off to Friends Select
Morgan is very fortunate to attend a wonderful school here in Philadelphia. The environment could not be better, especially when being thrown this curve ball. Today Morgan headed back to school. We are taking everything one-day-at-a-time. Teacher Debbie sent me video from today, but I am not a techy (tecky – whatever) and could not figure out how to post it.
The kids at school have been amazing, and when they heard that Morgan was sick, and would be losing her hair, they began to think. How could we make Morgan feel better about losing her hair, and not feel like she was alone. Their solution was that they would wear hats as well, so Morgan would not feel any different than anyone else. The teachers came up with an art project where all the kids designed their own hats (the teachers then sewed and pasted over the holiday break) which you see in the picture.
I will be picking Morgan up at 3p…because I have not received a call to come early, and can not wait to hear how her day went!
