Giving Thanks
So, it’s been a while since we have checked in. Not gonna lie, it’s been a hell of a roller coaster. Morgan was given news that there is a possibility she could be staying in her wheelchair. This was not something we were prepared to hear. We are working a few different “programs” to see if there are things we can do that may change that outcome, but it is something in the back of our minds daily.
Thankfully, her numbers stay positive, she’s enjoying school, and she is having some very good days. One of of the best days was the arrival of her new charge HUGO. She asked if this was her Hanukkah present…for all 8 days…I said it was. She responded that even if Hanukkah were 9 days, he would be worth it! He’s a great little guy, that has lifted her spirits more than I could have predicted.
