Back in the saddle again…
We checked back into the hospital today. Morgan’s pain management became too much to handle at home. Her skin rash is quite bad on her face, feet, hands, and lower extremities. It looks and feels like 2nd degree burns.
The sores are in her throat as well, which makes it almost impossible to eat. She is taking steroids, which makes her a hungry hippo, but the sores make it difficult. She has lost a lot of weight, and it’s hard for her to walk. The only choice was to check back into the hospital to help fix this.
Good news…we are on the “W” side of the hospital, so plenty of room to strectch. Good news…her bone marrow is 100% donor (no more bad marrow). Good news…her ANC is over 9000 (remember, she needed to be at least 200 for 2 days just to get out!). Just one more bump in the road to recovery…
