…and were rolling!
Throughout Morgan’s battle against Leukemia we have had the benefit of support from many family members and friends. From the very beginning we had unexpected addition to our family, that being the wonderful people of Chai Lifeline. Chai Lifeline is an organization that is dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families to get through the most difficult of times.
I can tell you in all sincerity that they have had a tremendous impact on our lives. They were there with us during the worst of times, and made the best of times even better. Naomi from the Chai Lifeline organization was responsible for many of happy moments that Morgan so desperately needed during her recovery. I could go on and on with stories of all of the great things that Naomi did for her that brought those bright moments during the dark periods.
Today we were able to give something back . We were asked by the Chai Lifeline group to be a part of there fund raising video, to which we immediately agreed.
The photo above shows Morgan and I creating her Special Salad, with her “Secret Dressing Recipe” and Morgan and Mama creating a “Duck Tape” masterpiece. One of our strategies to Morgan’s recovery is engagement, and boy can she be engaging!
