And the Rollercoaster ride begins…
News from the medical front…Morgan’s cancer is in question as to remission. Therefore, the doctors would like to re-start her treatment from the beginning…better to be safe than sorry. What this means is that on Friday we will begin her treatments as we did when we first found out about her leukemia. We are hoping we can do this as an outpatient, but we will not know until Friday. It is possible we will be checking back into the hospital for 2 more weeks, but for now we are out running around and enjoying the fresh air.
This is a set-back, but not uncommon. This is a contingency that the treatment process plans for as a possibility. Not common, but not uncommon. If children were not reading this blog, I might have a few other words I would use, so DARN IT.
Morgan is aware she may have to go back to the hospital. Her only fear are the needles, but she is a trooper, and still being spoiled. We are enjoying our time on the “outside” and hope it continues through the New Year!
