5 days…
Sorry for not writing but I was kicked out of the hospital Monday night with what we thought was food poisoning, and turned out to be a stomach virus some of the other parents on the floor had come down with – NOT FUN! Worse, I lost NO WEIGHT!!
Monday, Max visited with her mom and special surprise of getting her nails done! As their nails were drying they had a great visit from Elmo and Cookie Monster!
Tuesday, Teacher Kate and Sydney and Abby’s Mom stopped by for a chat. Later that evening the clan of Cavaliers (without Mom and Teddy) came and kept Morgan company as they created mosaics with tiles from Art class.
Wednesday, Morgan had another round of chemo, she did great. Her Grandma Nato brought lunch for the whole floor, while her friends Ava and Mazie visited, as well as Dasha and Polly.
Today, Morgan had a visit from Santa and some Santa clowns…this girl can act as Santa for some small 3rd world countries by the time we leave here! Her counts have been up and down, which is why we are still here. Tomorrow morning she gets a bone marrow tap to see how much cancer cells are still in her marrow to decide if we need to change up her treatment schedule.
Fingers crossed we will be some where else by next year.
