Minny Mouse stopped by for a visit!
Hi Everyone!
We really appreciate all your well wishes. Everyone has been asking what’s going on, so we thought this was the best way to share information, and have you communicate with Morgan as well.
Here’s what we currently know:
Morgan has been diagnosed with High Risk Pre-B Cell A.L.L. which is a type of Leukemia. We have learned that this is a VERY treatable kind of cancer. The journey will be long, but her lifetime will be longer because all her doctors are expecting a full recovery. The treatment will take a total of about 2 and a half years. The major treatment is in the first 6 – 9 months. She will be in the hospital for the next 30 days, where we expect her to leave CANCER FREE, all follow up visits for the following months will be to make sure it stays away!
We are being asked how all of you can help. I can not tell you how truly touched I am from the amount of support we received from minute one. When we figure out what we need, I will figure out how to ask for help. In the meantime, Gene (Morgan’s Daddy) is going to oversee this Blog, and update it with comments from Morgan and what she is doing each day. Right now she has learned what the phrase SPOILED ROTTEN means.
