Calling all donors…
As we anxiously wait to see if the 5 identified individuals match Morgan, the school she attends, Friends Select, stepped up yet again and organized a Bone Marrow Drive! We will not know for weeks whether or not the donors found will actually match Morgan. A drive will allow us the opportunity to add more people to the potential pot or another source to draw from if this match does not work.
The drive is scheduled for April 7 from 2pm – 6pm t Friends Select located at 16th & Race. I will give more details as we get closer to the drive date.
Tomorrow will be tough, with a 7am wake-up call with a shot to her leg muscle – Kinda wish her dad would have drawn the short straw on the stay over tonight. Based on last weeks results, Morgan will probably be somewhat queasy and tired until Friday. She will still want to see her friends, but she just may be a little less Morgan than your used to seeing.
Morgan had a good day today with a visit from her great friend Max. FRIENDS all the way around seem to be a great pick me up for our girl today.
