So the city was over 90 degrees this past weekend.  That would usually mean that the Jersey Shore would be about 10 - 15 degrees cooler.  I say usually, because Murphy’s law decided to join us for the day, and the Jersey Shore was 63 degrees!  No worries for any child…they have skin that can withstand anything [...]

Lungs are good.  Morgan had a good time with the test, she was a real trooper.  The facilitator had to remind me that there was only one person that should be giving Morgan instructions on how to breathe thru the test - and it wasn’t me.

For the next few weeks, we will be preparing for Morgan’s transplant.  We have seen the eye doctor, dentist, cardiologist.  We are seeing the pulmonary specialist today and will be getting a CAT scan in the next week.  Morgan will check in on May 13, and then undergo another hard run of chemo before her [...]

I hesitate to put this in writing…I mean, I wrote remission once, and then found out we were not.  However, we were just informed by the oncology team that Morgan DOES have a MATCH.  We check in May 13 for our new beginning!  We will be meeting with the BMT team (that’s Bone Marrow Transplant) [...]
